Season of the Witch Uncaged in March

Good news! Lionsgate announced that Dominic Sena’s Season of the Witch has been granted a March release! Lionsgate obviously feels confident enough to put it up against Dimension Films’ Piranha 3D.

That’s right, kids! Look for the flick, which stars Nicolas Cage, Ron Perlman, Stephen Campbell Moore, Claire Foy, Robbie Sheehan, and Stephen Graham, in theatres on March 19th, 2010.

The film centers upon the story of 14th century knights transporting a girl suspected of being the witch who has spread the Black Plague, to trial. Along the way they face a mystical and treacherous landscape.
