I so loved this mini series. I must admit unfortunately I had never heard or seen anything about Tom Courtenay outside of the great Yo La Tengo song with his name as title, but loving Dickens, seeing the great Tom C in action, and the lovely Claire.. – all the cast stunning; it was a great joy and I am SO HAPPY that the series was nominated at all, let alone winning some awards. Kudos to all at the Beeb and WGBH. Keep up the stellar work.

Andy did a nice job, but i thought Clair stole the show. It was that “face”. that brought us back week after week. Andrew Davies in his interview said the same thing. I think we all fell in love with Little Doritt,

I saw the Emmy list today and saw Little Dorrit nominated for best minisseries. I was disappointed that I did not see Clair’s name in the best actress catagory.
