When we saw Little Dorrit, at Christmas, with our very best literary friends, when we saw Claire in her role as Amy, we were overwhelmed, moved, stoked by her incredibly mature conception of the novel’s protagonist! We immediately fell in love with her. If Dickens hadn’t written his novel, but had seen Claire acting the way she did, he would have written a piece, only on her.
