‘Season of the Witch’ undergoing additional shooting

Ever since it’s theatrical release date was postponed in spring the fate of ‘Season of the Witch‘ – Claire’s big screen debut – has been unclear. According to Shock Till You Drop.com Production Weekly reported yesterday that the movie is undergoing some re-shoots, or additional shooting, at the beginning of September. IGN.com reports that this additionally photography will take place in Shreveport, Louisiana. Also they blame the tremendous delay on unsuccessful early screenings. Let’s hope this movie’s luck will soon turn around!

Maybe the reshoots will finally get the movie on the screen. I think it could be a great opportunity for Claire, exposing her to American audiences. Dorritt played to PBS audiences and Witch will put her in from of a whole new audience.
