The Official ‘Going Postal’ Website has been updated with loads of pictures & videos, many of which feature Claire as Adora Belle Dearheart. Seriously, you can spend quite some time on there and it’s definitely worth checking out ahead of the airing of the Terry Pratchett adaptation next Sunday & Monday, May 30 & 31, 2010 at 6pm on Sky 1 and HD. As briefly mentioned before, the BBC3 pilot ‘Pulse‘ starring Claire Foy will air next week on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 9pm on BBC3. Here’s the official site with a trailer.

One whole week before, on Thursday, May 27, 2010, the show will premiere online on BBC.co.uk.

If you reside in the UK and can view BBC3 please be sure to tune in. The amount of viewers will decide the future fate of this – according to many online reviews – promising series.

I replaced the captures of the first trailer with some without the Sky Logo and added captures of the extended ‘Going Postal‘ trailer that can be watched on the official site or below the cut. Also added some new stills. Apparently, ‘Going Postal‘ is scheduled to air on May 30.

The author of the book, Terry Pratchett, described Adora Belle Dearheart, Claire’s character, as “a kind of Bogart heroine” in a recent interview with The Independent.

In Season of the Witch, Nicolas Cage stars as a 14th century Crusader who returns with his comrade (Ron Perlman) to a homeland devastated by the Black Plague. A beleaguered church, deeming sorcery the culprit of the plague, commands the two knights to transport an accused witch (Claire Foy) to a remote abbey, where monks will perform a ritual in hopes of ending the pestilence.

A priest (Stephen Campbell Moore), a grieving knight (Ulrich Thomsen), an itinerant swindler (Stephen Graham) and a headstrong youth who can only dream of becoming a knight (Robert Sheehan) join a mission troubled by mythically hostile wilderness and fierce contention over the fate of the girl.

When the embattled party arrives at the abbey, a horrific discovery jeopardizes the knight’s pledge to ensure the girl fair treatment, and pits them against an inexplicably powerful and destructive force.

During the “2009 Winter TCA Tour”, which took place early January 2009, LA-Story.com had the chance to interview Claire Foy about all things ‘Little Dorrit‘ as well as a little about ‘Season of the Witch‘. The video interview was published on their website in late March – which was when ‘Little Dorrit‘ started airing in the US.
