The Television Awards brochure was given to all attendees of the 2011 Philips British Academy Television Awards last May. It was made available as e-mag. Not only does it feature the previously mentioned photoshoot of Claire Foy but she answered also the BAFTA Big Questions – how she got into acting, what movies influenced her and what advice she would give to somebody starting out in the acting industry.
Dread Central has more clips from ‘Season of the Witch‘. Watch them on their site or below the cut.
Thanks to Georgia from Talulah Riley Network all our ‘Season of the Witch‘ Production Stills have been replaced with high quality versions. And there’s one new still. I also replaced the screencaptures of the interview with Nicolas Cage with better quality ones and added the caps from the new interview posted yesterday.
Nicolas Cage’s latest film, Season of the Witch, which opens January 7th, 2011, has released a new, exclusive clip to iamROGUE! Cage and Ron Perlman (a former “Rogue of the Week”) discuss, “Is that the witch?!?” while staring at a beautiful, innocent-looking young woman (Claire Foy) in a cage (no pun intended).
Nicolas Cage and Claire Foy talk about their roles in the upcoming film Season of the Witch by director Dominic Sena and starring Nicolas Cage, Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Stephen Campbell Moore, Robert Sheehan and Christopher Lee.
There’s also a new trailer for the January 2011 release of Season of the Witch – it has more Claire Foy in it and shows her character as more complex, also it seems as if they’re marketing the movie now as more of a cross between historical drama and horror than just horror. Looks exciting! Watch it in HQ on Apple.com.
Oscar(r) winner Nicolas Cage (National Treasure, Ghost Rider) and Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Hellboy II, Sons of Anarchy) star in this supernatural action adventure about a heroic Crusader and his closest friend who return home after decades of fierce fighting, only to find their world destroyed by the Plague. The church elders, convinced that a girl accused of being a witch is responsible for the devastation, command the two to transport the strange girl to a remote monastery where monks will perform an ancient ritual to rid the land of her curse. They embark on a harrowing, action-filled journey that will test their strength and courage as they discover the girl’s dark secret and find themselves battling a terrifyingly powerful force that will determine the fate of the world.
The Official ‘Going Postal’ Website has been updated with loads of pictures & videos, many of which feature Claire as Adora Belle Dearheart. Seriously, you can spend quite some time on there and it’s definitely worth checking out ahead of the airing of the Terry Pratchett adaptation next Sunday & Monday, May 30 & 31, 2010 at 6pm on Sky 1 and HD. Here the direct links to the videos with the Claire Foy interview & Adora’s Make-Up Secrets on the Official Website.
I replaced the captures of the first trailer with some without the Sky Logo and added captures of the extended ‘Going Postal‘ trailer that can be watched on the official site or below the cut. Also added some new stills. Apparently, ‘Going Postal‘ is scheduled to air on May 30.
The author of the book, Terry Pratchett, described Adora Belle Dearheart, Claire’s character, as “a kind of Bogart heroine” in a recent interview with The Independent.

I added screencaptures of the Behind the Scene footage of Claire Foy’s photo shoot for the ‘Best of British Talent’ spread in the new InStyle issue. There’s also a video of InStyle’s party to celebrate the issue and the BAFTAs. I added caps of Claire among the party crowd and of her being interviewed.
Claire Foy is featured alongside Olivia Grant and Bonnie Wright in the March 2010 issue of InStyle UK. The photo is brand new and absolutely lovely.
You might recognise her from:Little Dorrit. What’s next?Going Postal, Season of the Witch, Homeland. Stellar moment: “A highlight of 2009 for me was working on Season of the Witch with Nicolas Cage — he’s eccentric but also such a lovely, genuine man. I’m gutted that I’ll be working and won’t be able to go to the premiere.”
